Academic Language Therapy: Take Flight is the core curriculum at Core of Knowledge. Take Flight is a structured, sequential curriculum developed by the Center for Dyslexia at Scottish Rite Hospital. This program was written for use with people with dyslexia ages 7 and above. It is intended to be used one-on-one or in a small group setting.

Early Intervention: Early intervention is key to developing literacy skills in children. At Core of Knowledge, we offer several curriculums which focus on letter/symbol recognition, alphabetic skills, verbal expression activities, and oral language including vocabulary and comprehension.

Reading Skills: We offer reading services in syllable types, written expression, vocabulary, grammar, fluency and comprehension. Our therapists are highly trained to work with students and develop individual plans.

Tutoring Services: Our therapists are also highly trained for teaching math in a multi-sensory way. We offer specialized tutoring in all areas of math as well as other subject areas. We also offer tutoring in ACT prep.
